Chef Robert Oliver has over 30 years’ experience in some of the world's best regarded restaurants, and brings his unique touch to The Haig Italian Restaurant. The restaurant has won a string of awards, including the prestigious AHA Award for Excellence, which we are honoured to have been presented with every year since 2001.
In our trophy cabinet, pride of place is given to the Best Cookery Employee for Robert Oliver, awarded in 2004 and 2007, in addition to the Best Restaurant in a Hotel Award, received in 2011, 2012 and 2013
We only use fresh quality ingredients from our oceans and farms, including melt in the mouth steak and the freshest sea food. Of course, no Italian restaurant would be complete without pasta, and here at The Haig we are proud to offer sumptuous dishes that will make you feel as if you are sitting in Italy. Finish off with delicate desserts that leave a taste explosion in your mouth.
